I don't know which version of kernel has Ubuntu 10.10, but I run VBox 4.0.2 on linux-2.6.35.x (32 bit) and on linux-2.6.36.x (64 bit) and have no problems. Guest OSes are QNX4, QNX6, WinXP-32 bit. Guest additions for WinXP are installed and VBox extension pack is used. May be you should try to build a vanilla kernel from kernel.org? Just to test whether this bug is related to custom kernel or to VBox. I suppose that Ubuntu guys applied a ton of patches over a vanilla kernel. _____________________________________________________________________ Actors will happen even in the best-regulated families. -- Yours Faithfully, Oleg Osovitskiy Deputy head of the software department, KGPA Ltd.
