Please add vbox.log from your VM. vbox.log is very important, as it
shows your host configuration, as well as VM settings.

Running:
Host: Kubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit here with VBox 4.0.4
Guest: WinXP guest (with 4.0.4 additions)
..and no problems.
