Hello,

I'm new on this list and even my english is not very good. I hope you
understand my problem and may help me:

I'm using VirtualBox 3.0.14 quite successfully with openSUSE Linux 10.3.
3.0.14 was the last version I could get for my distribution. The VMs on this
old system where started via /etc/init.d/vboxdrv and an entry in the "start"
section like this

su -c "VBoxManage startvm 'my virtual machine' --type vrdp" avboxuser

I had access to the running machines over the LAN with Windows XP machines
over mstcs.exe.
Now I made an update to openSUSE 11.4 and VirtualBox 4.0.4, where the
parameter '--type vrdp' isn't supported any more. It runs properly within
KDE 4.6.0 and I even can start it without a GUI via command line

VBoxManage startvm 'my virtual machine' --type headless

But how do I access the running VM via mstsc.exe like I did before?

Please give me advise or some hints for searching the web. If you need more
information please let me know.

Thanks, Alex
