VirtualBox-4.0-4.0.6_71344_fedora14-1.i686

I had untarred Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.0.6-71344.vbox-extpack
into the empty dir
Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.0.6-71344.vbox-extpack.d
I have copied the contents of the directory
Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.0.6-71344.vbox-extpack.d/linux.x86
to /usr/lib/virtualbox/

I started VBox.

Selected a preconfigured VM.
Clicking on Storage, I got a banner that said:

Failed to access the USB subsystem.

Result Code:

Did I miss some configuration issue?
The VM was created and configured to have a usb
disk: _16GBflash.vmdk
This was working just fine in the previous release.
So, I released it, I deleted it and re-created it and registered it.
Still, I cannot use it in any of my VM's
