Mea culpa. Humble apologies...
The fact is that - in my email client (Kmail) - I only *see* Plain text
when a message is shown.
What seems to have happened is that at some time on January 3rd or 4th
this year, all my emails started to include an HTML copy as well as
plain text, but I have not been aware if that.
In fact, Alex is the first person to point it out to me since January!
I confess I did overreact when I saw his email, because the purpose of
my email was to try to help someone who had posted a problem, and I
found it sad that the only reaction to that effort was a slap on the
wrist about HTML. (Was my email of any help?!)
In the time available I have so far been unable to find whatever is
adding the unwanted HTML to my emails, so I shall refrain from any
further posting in this list until I do.
