Others have made good points about ensuring adequate RAM for each system. I'd 
also 
be sure to set up RAID or at least a 3-way stripe to minimize disk bottlenecks 
as well. 
We've found that disk throughput is often a limiting factor with multiple VMs 
running at
once, particularly if they're of the "desktop replacement" variety.
