I downloaded the palm-emulator which is based on virtualbox!

Only problem with the webOS VM, which works quite nicely, is that this OS is 
gesture controlled. No [x] to close and app. No scroll bars. Everything is 
dragged since the interface is designed for phones and tablets.

To play with this, one needs to be able to do better mousing around. Scrolling 
a view using the mouse works passably. I have not succeded in closing an app 
which requires a rapid swipe upwards (If I had not seen this in one of the 
help screens, I would never have figured that one out but still need to be 
able to DO it!).

This VM comes with a large SDK. Anyone want to write webOS?

BTW, the bootup sequence looks very much like ... Linux! Is webOS one more 
bastard child? There IS gcc for webOS so one is not tied to a proprietary 
Java-version (C++ QT4 can be run on Android using the JNI!).
