I'm running a Fedora Core guest under a Windows7 host. The network
adapter is NAT attached. My Win7 firewall seems to like to block my
Fedora guest address so I need to change its IP every so often.

If I execute ipconfig from Win7 I can see the VB virtual adapter and its
IP address. I would like to be able to vary that IP address. So far
the only commands I've found allow me to modify the IP address of the
Virtual Linux guest which ifconfig -a lists. There must be a way to do
it but I've not found any docs describing how.

Would I be better off using a bridged adapter instead? I need the
virtual Fedora to be able to communicate with the Win7 host.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA - Tod
