Please help, I've been researching the FAQ's and User's Manual and trying
to troubleshoot a newly installed VirtualBox app latest version on a
Windows Vista upgrade to Win7(64-bit OS) to guest host Linux Ubuntu with no
success at creating a new vd (with a '.vdi' file extension). I've tried
enabling the I/O APIC without any successful results. It keeps allowing me
to input everything in the "virtual disk creation wizard" and acts like
it's creating the vd, however it just keeps going back to the "Create New
Virtual Disk" Summary screen without creating the disk.
Pretty sure that I'm just missing something or not reading something
correctly in the FAQ's as this seems to be a configuration issue on my end
however, I'm not as up to date with the technology as I'd like to be at the
moment.
Been trying to sort this out for a couple days now but am still not having
any luck.
