Hi gang. I need a little help with my fresh test upgrade to vbox 4.1.10

It would appear that bridged networking is broken.

You should know that I think that the networking stack is historically
the most unstable part of vbox.

About every third update or so, something with my networking setup
does not work.

I have a Win7 64bit host, and I have several guests using the Intel
Pro/1000 MT Desktop network card in bridged mode.

After installing the update to 4.1.10 bridged mode no longer provided
internet access to guests. Switching to NAT worked fine.

It seems that the guests can get IP addresses from the bridged
adapter, that are part of the correct subnet, but no internet access.

I have a WinXP Pro guest using the PC-Net Fast III adapter and it
didnt work in bridged mode either. I can get an IP address, but can
not get out on the network. Physical nodes on the network work just
fine, so it isn't the network giving me fits.

Again, switching the XP box to NAT works just fine.

I tried the PC-Net Fast II adapter in bridged mode on my backtrack ISO
based vm so that It would rediscover the network at boot time, that
seemed to work.

Just in the way of comments this is rather normal in my vbox
experience to have post update network issues. I like to have bridged
mode available so that my security based vms can can networks that
they themselves are members of.

Like I said, it seems that every few updates I face a problem like this.

Can someone point me in the right direction for better problem reports
or testing, as I am happy to help anyway I can.

Thanks for all your work.

Rance
