Hello. In my Windows host OS I have a 3rd-party firewall program and an antivirus program installed already, but I was wondering whether the guest OS (Windows Server 2008) makes use of them, for instance when browsing the internet with an IE browser in the guest OS, or would the guest require separately installed programs of this sort?. I ask because I am inclined to believe that the guest OS would require a separate antivirus program but not a separate firewall. I am thinking that I should go ahead and install the Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus program for the guest OS but leave the Windows firewall off while I continue using my host OS firewall only. Does that sound reasonable, or where would I likely find the support documentation addressing this issue? Thanks.
