Oh, this problem has never happend in W7 guests, just an Ubuntu 12.04
guest (on an Ubuntu 10.04 host). Of course, it could be user error
(typing the shutdown command into the wrong terminal/window), but I
don't think so (because the user I log into the host with doesn't have
sudo privileges). I'll post again if it happens another time.
