I am trying to install kvm inside of a guest running on virtual box.

Bet you would attempt to play "MS Flight Simulator" on a laptop, inside a real (hardware) Flight Simulator sitting on the cargo bay of a real flying Boeing 747.

sorry, could not resist ;-P
Well sometimes I think it would be nice to be able to do this. I'm a consultant and rely on my laptop to run lab environments and I would like to be able to run Tier-1 Hypervisors in some form of emulated mode virtually.

As I travel around a lot I can't really make use of cheap desktop hardware to run them in a physical lab environment.

Unfortunately - as others have pointed out, it cannot be done.
