Sorry, haven't been paying attention here for the past few days, real life sometimes gets in the way. I had a look at your solution and I don't think it is going to help. My problem isn't an activation issue. I am trying to install a corporate licence version of Win XP Pro so activation isn't required in this case. I think I might just try to hunt down an ordinary commercial licence copy of Win XP Pro from an old dead computer and transfer that licence to the VM and phone Microsoft to re-activate it. That seems as likely a solution as anything else. Thanks anyway Greg. Cheers.
