I've been running OpenBSD (32-bit) in VirtualBox since obsd v4.5 for high security and disposable desktops. Not a big deal. X with a Gnome (v2.x) desktop even works nicely. I routinely restore to the last known-good snapshot when I'm done. > I´ve read that for some reason that some in the OpenBSD community > are very anti-virtualization and tell people to ´just run OpenBSD > on real hardware"... They are, due to the vulnerability footprint inherent in virtualizing a system. There are known vulns (and no doubt zero days still locked upp) for virtualization systems that let the attacker break out and then go traipsing about with elevated privileges. - -- The Doctor [412/724/301/703] [ZS] Developer, Project Byzantium: http://project-byzantium.org/ PGP: 0x807B17C1 / 7960 1CDC 85C9 0B63 8D9F DD89 3BD8 FF2B 807B 17C1 WWW: https://drwho.virtadpt.net/ A STRANGE GAME.
