Hi Sarah,

Yikes, the above sounds very drastic.  What happens if you kill the VM
process?  You don't specify the Host O/S but you should be able to
kill the VM.

You might want to post the VirtualBox log file of your VM.  In the
tail end, there may be some nuggets of information ... or not.  :)
