On a GNU/linux system, you want ifconfig, on windows ipconfig should be able to do it, but I don't know for sure. If you mean set a static ip inside the guest from the host, I'm not sure that's possible, but I could be wrong. > 2. Command to figure out if the system has booted and is ready to be used.
