It is not clear to me how the VM resolves DNS lookups. Does it use the
default DNS service setting in my host? For example, if my laptop were
configured to use, say, OpenDNS, would an application in any VM also use
OpenDNS or would it use the DNS server configured in my NAT router? Is it
fair to assume that any program in the VM making some sort of DNS resolve
would use whatever had been configured for that particular application
first, and then resort to the VM's default method? Thanks.
