Hi, I have a Windows 7 64 bit on which a Linux virtual box guest with a fixed assigned IP address is running. When I switch the Windows 7 PC wireless button to "ON", the Linux Virtual box guest can be pinged from a DOS prompt on the host without any problems.
After I switch off the wireless button on the Windows 7 PC, the Linux Virtual box guest is no longer visible from the host. I have tried many different adapter settings on the Virtual guest, such as "Bridged Adapter", "Host-only Adapter", and "Internal Network", but none of them work unless the PC's wireless switch is set to "On". Is there a way to make the Windows 7 host and its Linux guest communicate without having to switch "On" the wireless button? Thanks in advance! p.s. I have read several articles on getting the Host and guest communicate but none of them helped. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How fast is your code? 3 out of 4 devs don\\\'t know how their code performs in production.
