I'm trying to investigate the general principles of using VirtualBox to do automated browser-based testing of webapps. It seems like there's a lot of information "out there" on this, but somewhat chaotic and unfocused.
I don't need to automate creating the VMs, I need to automate the starting of the vm, starting a browser, and running specific tests. I know Selenium will help with some of this. Is the idea simply to run the Selenium tests on the vm with ssh? What other details are significant to reaching this goal? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Don't let slow site performance ruin your business.
