Hi Cliff,
Have you installed the Guest Addition and the Extension? I currently don't
own a Mac so I could not check. But VirtualBox should recognize all USB
devices as it was natively connected to the OS inside the VM, as long as
the addition and extension are installed. Does the printer recognized
inside the Windows XP?
