I've done this several times by making an image of the physical disk,
then using VBoxManage to convert the image and using that as the hard
drive in a new VM.
With Linux I've had 100% success.
With Windows I've had 0% success. The VM always dumps to the blue
screen on startup.
It's great that it worked for you in Windows 7.
Hi all,
Iv been trying to make a vm from my windows server 2008 r2 but I
always get error.
Is there anything more I have to do with this server? When I do it
with normal os, linux, windows 7 etc... it works normal.
