The problem is that you don´t provide any specifics.

What system are you talking about? (brand name,model#), what camera
are you talking about? (screenshot of the host system´s control panel
with the device highlighted in the device manager´s tree).

Without that info, it´s all guessing and castles built into the air,
so to speak.
