Hmmm, you should be able to use remotebox to connect directly to the VMs
via RDP ("Remote Display"-Button):http://knobgoblin.org.uk/screenshots/fedora2.jpg Maybe you have to apply some changes to the rdesktop command? Have a look at 5.1 and 5.4 of the remotebox-documentation. There are some hints on the options.
