Hi David, I don't have enough information (your VBox.log file is missing) but I assume the following happens:
I assume you run VBox on a 64-bit AMD host but AMD-V is disabled. On 64-bit hosts we assume that all guests can run in 64-bit mode which is not true in your case. How to fix: Either 1. Enable AMD-V in your BIOS settings (preferred) or 2. Execute 'VBoxManage modifyvm VM_NAME --longmode off' for your guest.
