If we follow your logic we should change all boarders in Europe, simply because they were mostly other before 100 years and even more different as before 200 years. After Ukraine has become independent, after the self-distraction of USSR, all Ukrainian boarders have been internationally recognized. Even more..., 5 December 1994 in Budapest, Hungary, was signed a political agreement - the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances. This agreement should provide security assurances by its signatories relating to Ukraine's accession to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The Memorandum was originally signed by three nuclear powers, the Russian Federation, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom. Putin (obviously not all russian people) is obviously a megalomaniac. His purpose is to show to all over the world, that nobody can stop him in achieving his maniacal Illusions. This is very dangerous, remember the 2-World-War... At this time there was also a maniacal person who thought in a similar way. In my opinion, we all, people all over the World, should come together and stop this madness! Dear Gerry if we would do it your way, I fear we will get the same result as 1939-1945, but we should learn from our history. I am an Ukrainian, therefore this short statement is the point of view of all Ukrainian people who wants to be free and independent. Currently I am involved in different help-actions for Ukraine which are directly targeted to the people needed our help now. But I would do more if I can...
