Dear Friends,
I have a Syx 64 bit computer with a pci Adaptec 2940 controller in it.
The Adaptec controller is working fine in windows 7. My HP Scanjet 5p
scanner is connected
to the Adaptec controller. It is working fine in Windows 7.
The problem that I am having is with Oracle Virtual Machine.
LinuxMint 64 bit is also installed on a separate disk drive on a Jmicron
raid card.
Put Oracle Virtual Machine on the LinuxMint (Cinnamon) disk. Install
Windows 7 32 bit os
in the Oracle Virtual Machine. Almost every thing is working fine. VM is
so good
that it is hard to tell when I am moving from Linux to Windows.
My scanner (HP Scanjet 5p) is not visible to Windows 32 bit os in the
Oracle Virtual Machine.
Did add the scsi controller in the setting but that did nothing. Windows
32 bit os
does not see the Adaptec 2940 controller.
I have drivers for the 64 bit and the 32 bit for Windows 7.

So how do I get the VM to connect to my Adaptec 2940 pci card controller.

I know I am running LinuxMint 64 bit and VM (Windows7 32 bit). But I want
that combo.
That combo really runs well Great Job Oracle Team!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Erik
