Hi VirtualBox Gurus;

I've been using VIrtualBox on my Mac (Mac Book Pro, Yosemite) for a
long time now.

I've always used CentOs, Fedora, Ubuntu and Debian for my Guest OS.

  I have 4.3.28 installed.

Until recently I used the Guest OS for just as a CLI via ssh on some
instances and in other instances I wanted a full GUI (XDE, LXDE, MATE,
Cinnemon, KDE or GNOME).

I have an external Apple monitor. I've wanted to place the
VirtualBox Guest OS where I had installed an X-environment to go
full-screen on the external monitor. This was worked fine until last
night when I must have done something stupid, but I do not recall what
I did. I now only have VGA as a monitor type when I try to go into
the Display settings on the Guest OS. I have the VirtualBox 4.3.28
Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack installed. I have the Guest
Additions installed.

I see nothing missing in the VirtualBox settings for the Guest OS.

  What am I missing?

  What did I screw up?

Thanks,
Ken Wolcott
