I know - this is a 64-bit platform. I am running the 64-bit version of CentOS 6.6: -sh-4.1$ uname -a Linux pf1 2.6.32-504.23.4.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jun 9 20:57:37 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -sh-4.1$ more /etc/issue CentOS release 6.6 (Final) Kernel \r on an \m -sh-4.1$ So truly there should be no issue whatsoever - but there is.
