better don't :) ~/.VirtualBox contains VirtualBox.xml which contains references to all your VMs. The actual VMs are stored in ~/VirtualBox VMs/ by default but this can also be changed using the global settings. And ~/.VirtualBox is only used if this directory is already there. On a virgin installation, the directory is created at ~/.config/VirtualBox. Kind regards, Frank -- Dr.-Ing.
