The starting position was a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit host,
running VirtualBox 5.0.0 and everything was fine.
Upgraded the host to Windows 10 and then unable to allocate
optical media without crashing the guest concerned.
Thought upgrading VirtualBox to 5.0.4 might resolve the
problem, which it did.
However the guests can nolonger 'see' the shares from the
host.
Your thoughts? - other than don't upgrade to Windows 10!
