Configuring VirtualBox for Windows VBox Host: Windows 10 Pro version 1511 OS Build10586.36
RAM 8GB 64 Bit AMD A8-3820 processors VBox Guest: (initial build) Win 7 Pro 64 bit RAM 3.5 GB; Storage SATAPort 0 54 GB; Port 1 [Optical Drive] Had some issues -- deleted and rebuilt VBox Guest VBox Guest: Win 7 Pro (attempted 64 Bit, but itwould only present 32 Bit template) After review of documentation, e.g., "Ihave a 64 bit host, but can't install 64 bit guest' I changed BIOS (AMD A8-3820 processor) andensured that AMD-V was enabled, performed a full restart from power off state. Againattempted to build a "NEW" VBox Guest -- No Joy! the templates available are still restricted toWindows 32 bit options. SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING IN REGISTRY IS RESTRICTING 32 BIT ONLY. -rew
