This won't help the original poster, he's doing an upgrade to Windows10
surely from WindowsUpdate. In other words, the "limited time free upgrade"
that transfers your existing license-activation to win10.

I've got a tablet running win8.1 that I'm also in the process of updating
(its been failing for a few weeks due to lack of space on c: drive).

As part of this "update" process first the iso is downloaded, then an
update assistant is run that apparently checks not only free disk space
-that's where my install is failing- but also the graphics chipset.

It seems to me that ORCL needs to get the VBox virtual video adapter
recognized by this win10 pre-install routine.
