Setup:
Host: Openindiana (a version of solaris 11)
    Hardware: HP xw 8600 workstation
              2x xeon 3.3 khz 32gb ram

After upgrading to 5.0.14 I am unable to create new vm.

On attempted boot I hit this error

VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).
  Result Code:
  NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
  Component:
  ConsoleWrap
  Interface:
  IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

My previous vbox version was 5.0.2 I hit the same problem with that
verion but was able work around it by installing only 32 bit vms.

That trick does not work with 5.0.14.

My bios has no settings for VT-x so I'm fresh out of ways to defeat
this error.

Even more puzzeling is that 5.0.14 is able to run existing vms with no
problems.

I attempted new vm creation using the same ISO as was used with
existing vms... does not matter... the VT-x error still pops up.

Any ideas of how to proceed
