I have a friend of mine who says he can use qemu-kvm to accelerate a paravirtualized Windows VM inside VirtualBox. I know there's a KVM paravirtualization provider, but I couldn't find any information about if the provider uses KVM for real, accessing /dev/kvm device and stuff. As far as I can tell the provider is just how VirtualBox presents itself to the VMs, but not seems there's any real connection. Any thoughts?
