Activity is currently low. But there are activity peaks from time to time,
mostly centered around Linux and Windows.

My observation is that newer generations prefer web based forums for
whatever reason.

At least you don't get people yelling "please remove me from this mailing
list, the volume is too high!" ;)

About your question wrt developers, I've seen Frank Batschulat (
frank.batschulat@oracle <frank.batschu...@oracle.com> ) replying to threads
as recently as late August. There is also another Frank (
frank.mehnert@oracle <frank.mehn...@oracle.com>) and Alexey Eromenko
(please raise your hand!).

My job here is to keep this running for those of us who prefer mailing
lists over forums. Stay tuned...

Not sure I've ever seen any devs here, but I suppose I could be mistaken.

The bulk of activity, if you want to see devs, is on the development
mailing list. But that's not funny at all, unless you want to see bug
reports and crash logs.

I often see Mac related threads but I can't help with that, having only
Linux based servers (AMD Opteron) and desktop (AMD E2 APU) plus Intel Nuc
running Win20 home.

Unless someone wants to donate a used iMac, it's not in my budget nor my
plans to get one. (prices are insane down here in Argentina even for used
ones, anything Apple carries a premium)
