Hi Greg,

when using the video recording (capturing) feature with audio enabled for a VM, only the guest output will be recorded. This is independent of the actual audible guest output the host will be playing back while running a VM.

Hope this helps,

Hi all.

If I choose to capture the guest video/audio (settings -> display ->
recording), and I then bring up the menu bar with host+home, or bring
up settings with host+s, what happens? Is the menu window or settings
window also recorded as part of the output, or is only the guest
screen output recorded? Since I'm blind, I can't simply record and
then view the resulting .webm file myself. I do know the audio
continues to be recorded as normal, but the video? Thanks in advance.

Greg
