In a recent upgrade to Linux kernel 6.1.0-11-amd64 I have a minor problem
which may be related to graphics issues in display of windows with a
transparent background.
I run Devuan Linux virtual machines on a Windows 10 host; the fvwm2 window
manager pops up a banner at the start of an X11 session. The banner
appears without problem on real hardware machines, but not in VBox virtual
machines. I suspect the problem is related to 3D acceleration issues; I am
simply curious, as the display is of no great importance and I can easily
live without it.
Is there a problem with transparency in X11 windows?
