Hi Achim, an improvement of the shared folder access surely is necessary for future versions of VirtualBox. After a few days of proper working shared folder access from a Win2k guest on a Ubuntu Edgy Host my guest system crashed every time when i tried to open a file on my host system with the following error:
*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xF41CB000,0x00000001,0xBED25C89,0x00000000 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA *** ADRESS BED25C89 bas at BED25000, DateSTamp 45aa3f04 - VBoxSF.sys The only solution was to reinstall Win2k. Kind regards, Matthias. <Sun, 21 Jan 2007 21:04:10 +0100 schrieb Achim Hasenmueller <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Shared Folders are very unreliable when used from Windows guests.
