I'm trying to run openSUSE 10.2 as a guest OS on a Win-XP host. I had no
trouble creating the
virtual machine and the initial installation from the downloaded DVD .iso file
went smoothly through
the loading of the default packages and the usual reboot. In fact, everything
was normal until it
tries to configure the miscellaneous hardware, which includes ISDN interfaces.
At this point the
installer gets a segmentation fault and crashes. It then proceeds to a login
screen; however, the
next time it is booted, the aborted installation is detected and the process
restarts.

I checked the logs, but this error is not logged. I would appreciate any
suggestions on fixes or
work-arounds.

Thanks,

Larry
