Hi,
I'm trying to connect with linux rdesktop tool to VRDP (linux host with
WinXP in VBox). Log says:
00:04:38.993 VRDP: Logon: ThessyMobil (172.22.9.100) build 2600. User:
[admin] Domain: []
00:04:38.996 VRDPAUTH: User: [admin]. Domain: []. Authentication type:
[guest]
00:04:43.996 VRDPAUTH: Access denied.
The user manual says (Chapter 6.1.5):
-vrdpauthtype allows you to choose whether authoriza-
tion will be performed by VirtualBox, by an external library or not at all.
The description of 'modifyvm' within 'VBoxManage' knows these three
possibilites:
[-vrdpauthtype null|external|guest]
I would think...
null = 'not at all'
external = 'external library'
guest = 'VirtualBox'
But what does 'guest' mean? Where is the user 'admin' searched? In the guest
system (WinXP) or has it to be defined in VirtualBox?
Regards...
Thomas
