Trying to install XP on a VIA Eden mainboard (Jetway J7F2WE, CPU
details see below) using a Linux host results in the following error
message:

   "Windows requires certain processor features that are not available
   on the processor in this computer. Specifically, Windows reauires the
   following instructions.

       CPUID
       CMPXCHG8B

   Setup cannot continue.  Press any key to exit."

AFAIK, the processor knows about CPUID.  cat /proc/cpuinfo reads:

Not sure about the CMPXCHG8B, but i'd expect it to be there too.

Any idea what I can try?
