I have precisely the same problem.  For a short while everything is OK, but
then over time, repeat keystrokes get generated (and it seems like more and
more the longer I let the guest OS run).  For example, my login

bsmith

becomes 
bbbbbbssmmmmmmmmmittthhhhh

Running Windows XP Home as host OS, Ubuntu 6.10 as the guest.  AMD Athlon 62 X2 
4800+ and
2GB memory.
