I have tested the same here, if you choose option 2 (ACPI disabled) it will boot, but that stop the fun of using a ACPI BIOS compliant VM, right? > > The same boot process in VirtualPC is ok … > Yeah, and even Parallels works too. My host specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2GB RAM DDR2-667 Windows XP SP2 Created a Host Interface and set it for the VM Expanding, non inmutable (ala, normal) HDD of 4GB.
