Hi,
i've tried to use the "shared folder" feature - but i've no luck. :(
I set up a new share with:
"./VBoxManager sharedfolder add "Windows XP" -name "vboxshare" -hostpath
/tmp"
after this i can verify with:
./VBoxManager list vms:
"
.....
Shared folders:
Name: 'share', Host path: '/tmp' (machine mapping)"
But if i run Windows XP and the comand "net use z: \\vboxsvc\vboxshare"
i got the error messsage: "Host Not found" (or something like this :) )
with the explorer (and Drve mapping) i got the same error message.
I've installed the VirtualBox again, and delete all sharedfolder and add
a new sharedfolder after reinstall the VirtualBox - bus nothing helps :(
I start the VirtualBox from the install dir directy like this:
"cd VirtualBox
./VBoxSVC --daemonize > log.txt 2>&1
./VirtualBox
"
I use the binary VirtualBox.
Can anybody help me?
