My host OS is Windows Vista, and my guest OS is Windows 2003. Currently the most annoying problem of VirtualBox is shared folder error. I often need to exchange files and data between those 2 OS's, but when I save state of the guest OS and resume it later, I cannot access the shared folder. The error message is; An error occurred while reconnecting Z: to .... VirtualBox Shared Folders : The local device name is already in use. This connection has not been restored.
I have to fully shutdown the guest OS and restart it to use shared folders. Do you have the same problem? Or what's the problem with my configuration? Please tell me how to workaround this problem.
