We will eventually[1] do it. However, one of the reasons we went open source was to get external contributors to improve VirtualBox. We as paid developers have to focus on the interests of our paying customers but the user community can contribute whatever they're interested in. We will not refuse or dealy any patches that are correct and improve the product.
