i refer back to host networking on XP...
i managed to install on mepis linux and everything worked 1st
time, nat surfing ftp (it didn't even give a crash-box when it
shut down which the xp host does)
someone said earlier - just set up 3 ifs use bridging and away
you go, but i think you can only have one bridge ext to int so
where do you define the extra ones?
IMHO i believe the majority are using vb on linux host where it
does work exceedingly well! and without tinkering and i will
probably FINALLY get rid of dual boot with it at home,
BUT the Winblows side does not stand scrutiny and more detail is
required in the manual on networking
SO i will continue to use vmware at work on windows till it
improves or the manual is more clear.
