I use the PCMCIA slot mainly for a TV Card (Avermedia) and I have a few
problems using it under Linux. The SD/MMC slot I use for my camera card to
download pictures. This is not as important as that works fine under SuSE.
I also have a PC Card Adaptor which takes Smartmedia cards, again this
works fine under Linux but is not recognized under Windows XP guest
