Indeed, which is why you need the kernel source to recompile. If you use ATI or Nvidia drivers from nvidia.com or ati.com, you cannot use those anymore and must use the manual kernelmod instructions for each respective product. Hmmm, I'm using the Nvidia drivers on my laptop and I was about to post something about this. It seems when I have the VM's USB enabled _and_ I try to view a movie in the VM, the VM freezes. VMware released a new version of their product that uses the sysfs USB model for Suse 10.2 I think your point is let's hope VirtualBox 1.3.8 does the same. I agree.
